We selected a Mexican coffee offering from the highlands of the Sierra Madre mountains in the southern state of Chiapas. The farms are situated near El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, the largest cloud forest reserve in Mesoamerica. The altitude, weather, and lush environment provide the farmers with ideal conditions for producing these beans.
Altitude: 4000-5700 feet.
Tasting Notes: Lemongrass, toffee, chocolate and almond flavors; sweet and citric with a thick mouthfeel.
